August 1993. Dani has just turned thirteen and moves with her family to a house in the suburbs. A new environment, new relationships, and the pressure of fitting into a world that already seems to have written rules.

 

During that first weekend, each member of the family faces their own fears and uncertainties, in a time marked by a lack of role models and the need to belong.

 

A story about identity, difference, and the moment when we begin to question everything we've been taught.
